Check the words read from a screenshot

  1. The words read from your picture appear in the message box. Your screenshot is shown further down so you can compare.
  2. Compare every line with the picture. Look closely at links, phone numbers, amounts, and small words like “not” and “never”.
  3. Fix anything that is wrong: tap in the box and type. Delete words that are not part of the message, like the time or the name of your phone company at the top.
  4. If a note says the picture was hard to read, or you cannot check every word, tap “Clear screenshot and paste instead” and copy the message instead.
  5. When the box matches the picture, tick “I compared the full text with the screenshot and fixed any errors.” The “Check this message” button works only after you tick it.
  6. If you change the words after ticking, the tick comes off. Tick it again when you are done.

About this check What the results mean

A warning is guidance. A quiet result is not proof of safety. The checker uses fixed English patterns and a limited contact list that is still awaiting human review.

Screenshot text cannot establish a match to reviewed records, even after your review. Missing words can change the result.
